Do you take a cut of my bookings or payments?

No. Pencilbird is one fixed monthly fee, with £0 per booking and 0% of your payments. Stripe charges its usual card fees on payments, the same as it would anywhere else.

Where does the money go?

Straight into your own Stripe account. Pencilbird never holds your money, and payouts follow your Stripe settings.

Can I keep my website?

Yes. Add a Book button to your site, or link each treatment straight to its booking page. Your booking page has your logo and colours and can sit on your own address, like book.yourclinic.co.uk.

Do my clients need an app or an account?

No. They book in their browser in three steps, get a confirmation email with a calendar file, and can reschedule or cancel from the link in it.

I already use another booking system. Is switching hard?

We set Pencilbird up with you: your treatments, prices, team, hours, forms and policies, before you go live. You can run both side by side until you’re happy.

What if I want to leave?

You can export your bookings and client records whenever you like, and your payments history stays in your own Stripe account.
